Another Interview
I still haven't heard anything from my interview this week, but that's ok. The job was in Provo and I wasn't too sure about driving there 3 times a week, but we'll see. I do have another interview on Tuesday. This one is a 2 hour group interview and I am really nervous about it!
A Movie & Dinner
Lastnight Mike & I went out with some friends (3 other couples). We went to see the new movie Blades of Glory and laughed our butts off! It was HILLARIOUS!!!! I can't remember the last time I laughed so much and it felt soooo good, I really needed that release. Of course, I am a little scared to recommend this movie to just anyone....there is quite a bit of crude humor, I mean, come on it is Will Ferrell. But if you like him and the type of comedy he is so good at, then you have to see it! We all went to dinner after at Market Street and had some yummy fish. (I don't really like fish, but love their fish & chips!) It was a lot of fun to take the guys along since most of the time us girls go out together without our men. Thanks for a fun night!

Job Interview
Today I had my first job interview in over 10 years. I was sooooooo nervous, but it was not too bad. I interviewed with 2 ladies at the same time and they were great. I have no idea if I will get the job and right now am not too worried about it. For now it was good practice.

Spring!
The last week we have had beautiful weather! It feels like spring! For me there are pros and cons with spring coming.
Pros: nice warm weather, flowers blooming, kids play outside and get really tired, taking family walks, playing at the park, rain instead of snow, etc
Cons: weeds, which means weeding (notice all the weeds in my yard that I still need to get to), allergies, kids bloody noses
The pros outweigh the cons so I do like spring!

New Rec Center
Yesterday the kids were out of school for a teacher prep day. Luckily our new recreation center opened a couple weeks ago and it's really nice. It has 2 great pools, a competition pool and a leisure pool. They also have a rock climbing room, ice arena, raquetball, a few gyms, a weight room, walking tracks, etc. We got a membership and so we took the kids swimming and they did some rock climbing as well. We definitely plan on getting our moneys worth out of this great new facility!

Good News!!!
Most of you know that my parents live in North Carolina and have for almost 11 years. They found out they were moving from SLC the same time we found out we were pregnant with Rylee who was the first of their 10 grandchildren. All of my siblings and their families live here in Utah except Sara, who is in Las Vegas. Then my brother, Brandon's wife and little girl are living in Spain. Anyway, so mom & dad have been far away from all of us and we have missed having them close to celebrate special occasions and holidays and just to hang out. Well, my dad called yesterday and he got a new assignment: Teaching at the Ogden Institute! YEAH!!!! They will know be close enough to spend lots of time with, so much so that they will probably get sick of all of us. I am soooooo excited for my kids to now have all their granparents close by to spend time with on a regular basis. I never had that growing up and know it will be a great blessing in their lives.

My Boys Are 8!
Cole & Noah just a couple months ago
Cole & Noah at just a couple of weeks old
Where has the time gone? I can't believe my boys are 8 years old and almost 50 pounds. (They were both 5'7" when born at 37 weeks) I can still remember the shock I felt as soon as I saw 2 heads on the ultrasound. Mike & I both were so overwhelmed with the idea of adding 2 little ones to our little family. How would we do it?... We recieved lots of advice from many sources: other parents of twins, doctors, friends, and family. I think the best advice we received was to keep them on the same schedule! Everyone kept telling us if you can make it through the first year you will be fine. I felt a big relief when they were about 6 months old. They quit nursing, could eat other food, slept through the night, could "play" with each other...Definitely uphill from there. Each stage of life they change and grow so much. And each stage has the good and the bad, and some even have the ugly, but not too much of that. They are sooooo much the same and sooooo different at the same time. They are both sweet, fun boys. They love cars, hot wheels, legos, bikes, building things, coloring, going to school, collecting "treasures", and hanging out with their dad. Cole is a little more sensitive, Noah a little more aggressive. Cole is a lefty, Noah is right handed. They are each others best friends or worst enemy depending on the moment. Luckily it is rarely the latter. We are sooooo glad they came together to join our family....What would we do without them? Life would not be the same! We love you Cole & Noah.

Plumber's Crack!
I bet you think I am referring to Mike...Guess again...It's Jenna! I don't know what the deal is with some of her pants, but more often than not she looks like this lately. It cracks me up! Yesterday she was playing in the dirt in this pot and the way she was sitting was making it even worse. I had to get my camera. Enjoy!

Autorama!
Today we went to the Autorama! With all the mustangs, harleys, corvettes, and Mater, how could we not go. The boys were sooooooooooooo excited the whole time. Running from car to car and telling us which car was what. They would say one was their favorite until they saw the next car and that was their favorite and so on and so on. Jenna was very patient while we looked until we found Mator. She loves the movie CARS (if you haven't seen it check it out, great movie!) and Mator is one of her favorite "cars". She informed us that the Mator we saw today was not the real Mator he was the fake Mator. Rylee wasn't too excited but still had a pretty good time. Mike says he found the motorcylce he wants....we'll see. I just had fun spending time with Mike & the kids more the last couple of days, it has been nice. I also found a couple Mustangs I wouldn't mind driving around to run errands. :-)
Talent Show
Lastnight our ward had a talent show and Rylee did some gymnastics. She did awesome! She choreographed her own routine a couple weeks ago and has been practicing pretty hard. She was first on the program and a little nervous. I told her first was better because you got it all over and could enjoy the rest of the show without all the nerves. She did great and everyone told us how amazing she was and they couldn't believe how flexible and "bendy" she is. I was amazed at how long she held her handstand compared to before. The conditioning at gymnastics (no matter how much she dislikes it) is defintely improving her strength!
