In Her Genes...

Mike has been recycling some wood he used on a job to build a ramp. I know, do we really need another skateboarding apparatus at our house?!?! Well, it has kept him busy and the garage is now clean! The boys are actually wanting to learn to skate now and even more than them is Jenna. She goes out each day and "skates" with Mike. She is so proud of herself.

Today B would have turned 36!
We just got together to celebrate and have cheesecake in his honor.
I forgot to take any pictures tonight and I like this picture of him helping
his daughter and Ry celebrate their birthday so I used it.
(The girls share a birthday, 4 years apart).
B was an incredible dad, uncle, brother, son, friend, and we miss him everyday!

She's 12!

I cannot believe that my little girl is so grown up. Where has the time gone? She has turned into such a beautiful young lady. She is helpful, kind, funny, talented, hard working, I could go on and on. I was just telling Mike recently that the thing I love most about Ry is her self confidence. She does not care what others think of her. She is so sure of herself and doesn't let others "judgements" get to her. I wish I was more like her in that way. And I hope and pray that she stays that way. If she does the next few years will be a lot more enjoyable for all of us.
