Brighton Camp

As soon as the wedding festivities were over and all the family was gone we had to get Rylee ready for her next adventure, girls camp. This year is was her and the 2 other Mia Maids from our ward going to Brighton Camp. It is a church run camp up Big Cottonwood Canyon. Rylee wasn't too excited about going, but ended up having a great time. They repelled, played pranks, and hiked...


Here are the girls with Bounce (all the counselors have nicknames that they go by at camp and Bounce is from our ward so the girls were really excited to see her when we were dropping them off).



Rylee & Mandy waiting for their turn on The Perch, a tiny platform on top of a 30 foot pole. The girls had to climb up and stand on top, then they jumped off and tried to hit a bell as they jumped. Rylee and Mandy have been friends since Rylee was 1 and Mandy was 6 months old.


One day the girls hiked 14 miles. There are 7 peaks surrounding Brighton and they hiked to each one. This was the first peak. So beautiful!
