We had spent so much wonderful time with all my family, then I worked a few nights, and Ry was getting ready to leave for her next adventure: EFY so I wanted just the 6 of us to have some time together. So we headed up Big Cottonwood Canyon to one of our favorite hikes: Silver Lake at Brighton. We got up there and both parking lots were jam packed so we decided to go for a drive instead. We took Guardsmans Pass over to Park City. It was fun to just drive around and enjoy the beautiful scenery as well as each others' company. At one point Cole got car sick so we had to pull over for a few minutes. There was a little creek and Mike and the kids found some rocks with fossils in them.
Here he is with Jenna looking for more fossils.
