A few years ago they tore down the old house just west of us and then started building some new homes. We weren't thrilled at the time, but figured it would be ok. Half the lot has been just a big hole because the builders ran out of money until recently. They are building the final home, the one we were hoping would never happen. First they tore down one of 2 trees that were the only shade we had on the west side of our house. It provided shade for most of our drive way and helped keep our house cooler.

Then last week we came home to find this:
We (and all our neighbors, with the exception of the new grumpy, old couple on the street who complained about the parking among other things) were not happy AT ALL!! The red paint looks awful! It makes our street look so commercial and not like our cozy, quiet street. We are in the process of getting it fixed. There really has never been an issue with parking on our street before and cannot believe that 1 person complaining justifies this!

Carly I could not agree more! The paint on the street is ridiculous and the fact that one person complaining over this is ludicrous.
